When the theme of the 2015 Met Gala was announced—“China: Through the Looking Glass” the first question which brought in our mind was: “What on earth … are people going to wear?” Till Monday night this was a mystery, but the photos are out and we saw a lot of embellished floral motifs along with the most popular shades of red and black.
As the theme was a Chinese inspiration one , a few of them seemed to know that in the Chinese traditions, in Imperial China yellow was reserved exclusively for the emperor and is a symbol of good luck. On the red carpet Rihanna was the only one who wore this color, not particularly on a dress, but on her cape.
I bet you saw the photos too and noticed that along with some in and out night dresses the tendency was off course: get naked!
As for me, the dress code of 2015 MET Gala was splited into three: in (Poppy Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Amal Clooney, Anna Wintour) , out( Miley Cirus, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Connelly, Madonna, etc) and insane ( scroll down).
Now l chose for you the most insane outfits from Monday night. What do you think? Do you agree with me?
