I know, I know there were plenty of winter posts on blog till now, but trust me, I want spring to come too, but, till then the winter reigns. So, as long as the winter continue to remain on our lands, I am prepared to feed you with valuable information about cozy outfits for winter.
As a result today I’m gonna talk about the art of layering. Do you own this ability?
For those of you who heard the word and do not know what it means, or for those who saw this trend live on the streets, layering means the wearing of lightweight or unconstructed garments one upon the other, as to create a fashionable ensemble or to provide warmth without undue bulkiness or heaviness.
The first thing you have to know is that, wearing layers is an art, a hard one and it only gets better with time just like fine wine!
To do it right, you need to be willing to throw disparate elements together, while keeping an eye on color. Limit yourself ( if you are a biginner) to two shades that go well together – for example, blue and grey, or black with any color, or even jeans – and you’ll be fine. The key to combine layers so that they are easily removable, for example oversized coats offers ample room for layers beneath, and can be easily shrugged off.
To maximize outfits and accessories in your wardrobe, one must learn and master the beautiful art of layering. This helps create more interesting and versatile outfits that reflect our creativity and style.
Layering well is a chance to be creative with your look. A layered look should, above all, seem casual and comfortable.
This trend usually begins with the fall, continues in winter and ends with the first days of spring. This trend is chic, comfortable, interesting and can be associated with both casual and elegant outfits.
Why is layering so great? It allows for more creativity, a little eccentricity, and usually means less skin is on display. Plus, with the simple addition of another piece you can create an entirely different outfit.
Enough with this talk, now let’s see this art in street style photos.
